ICCP-TASE.2 Extensions for MMS-EASE Lite
Description
The ICCP-TASE.2 Extensions for MMS-EASE Lite brings the internationally accepted ICCP-TASE.2 standard for real-time data exchange to the realm of intelligent electronic devices (IED) and other embedded systems.
The Intercontrol Center Communications Protocol (ICCP) is an international standard (IEC60870-6 TASE.2) to enable exchange of real-time data between the control centers of different utilities over wide area networks (WAN). ICCP-TASE.2 is being used world-wide to provide real-time data exchange between control centers, substations, power plants, EMS, SCADA and metering equipment within the electric and gas utility industries. Applications range from small regional power dispatching networks to large supra-national transmission systems.
The ICCP-TASE.2 extensions to MMS-EASE Lite is the latest advancement in ICCP-TASE.2 technology from SISCO that allows ICCP-TASE.2 to be applied in relays, meters, RTUs, and other IEDs cost effectively with minimal engineering effort.
